Employee absenteeism investigations

We conduct targeted investigations to verify sick leave abuse, simulated injuries or the improper use of paid leave.

Employee absenteeism is an increasingly widespread phenomenon that can cause serious economic and organisational damage to a company.

Kriteria supports employers in verifying unjustified absences, suspicious extensions to periods of sick leave, and abuse of leave, such as that provided for by Law 104/92.

Through confidential investigations and dynamic observation activities, we document behaviours that are inconsistent with medical certificates or the stated reasons for absence.

The evidence collected is legally admissible and can be used in disciplinary proceedings or dismissals for just cause.
