Crime defence investigations

We support legal strategies with admissible evidence to protect the right to a fair trial.

Reform of the Code of Criminal Procedure and Law 397/2000 grants defence teams the right to conduct independent investigations to gather crime evidence in support of the defendant.

Through authorised investigators specialising in defence investigations (pursuant to Art. 327-bis of the Code of Criminal Procedure), Kriteria works in coordination with defence counsel to reconstruct facts, gather testimony and find useful evidence at all phases and levels of judgement, from preliminary investigations to the review of judgements.

Our methodical and documented approach guarantees the legitimacy and solidity of the evidence acquired, supporting an effective and transparent defence strategy.
